Loss of power and increased lag... Weather related or something else...

Just recently it seems like my Stage II has lost power and has an increase in the Turbo lag. Is it due to the weather change or something else? Whats your thoughts? Any other midwest guys experience this? Just recently it went from mid 60's/70's to high 80's+ so maybe the hotter air causes heat soak? Are the stock intercoolers really this inefficient? TIA guys.

20*F will make a difference in performance but it wont be that drastic. My 997TT pulls harder in 50's than it does in 90's. The only way to get around it is to install larger/more effiecnt* intercoolers.

I think the only answer is to give it to Lambo of Las Vegas and take home that Verde LP!! No more boost, no more problem!!!

Could it also be that you have gotten used to the power? Then again, even I noticed it this weekend and I dont drive your car nearly as much as you!

Heat does sap power from turbocharged engines, it very well could be just that. But you could also check for a boost leak...

When it gets cool in my region (40's and 50's on a winter night) it's like a breath of fresh air for my Turbo. 90's. humid -- fun beach weather --but not a good thing for the Turbo .

The humidity and heat do have an effect on performance.

You guy's need to move to the Pacific Northwest! We're lucky to crack 50 degrees lately. Snow in the mountains tonight. Great turbo weather.
