Thumbs up 2008 Viper Skip-Shift Eliminator Installation

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone here has installed a skip-shift eliminator on a 2008 Viper, a friend of mine has an 08 Viper coupe and bought a part that only works up to 2006 models (company didn't specify this when he bought it, he was told it would fit the 08 model)

Any help of feedback would be greatly appreciated, is there a way to use this same harness and make it work with the 2008 model.

Thank you.

EDIT

It's a 2008 so it doesn't have a T56, it has a TR-6060.

It's not going to work. It's just a resistor anyways. So there is definately a way to fix it to make it work. But this is just assuming that the design of the lockout is the same as the T56.

The application for 1992-2006 will not fit the 2008 model but can be modified to work with the 2008 viper. We are currently installing one on a 2008 model. More information when the installation is complete.

Good call, I thought they were going to use the T-56 still. I heard something awhile back about it changing, but didnt know they did.

Yeah the T56 will be phased out in everything. The new Challenger, Camaro, and the 6 speed G8 will all have the updated TR60-60
