GT Porsche 7/08. While Porsche may have just lost out to BMW M3 in speicific capacity category at this year's Engine of the Year Award, porsche won victory in the Best Performance Engine Capacity with its 3.6 liter twin turbo beating out Farrari 599, GTB's V12 and Audis 5.0 liter V10. One of the judges commented that very few turbocharged engines have been honed to such a degree of perfection as the porsche twin turbo.
