Tire Pressure monitoring problem

Hi,

just a heads up. Ordered the valve caps with the Porsche crest and seem to be having a problem with the TPMS.

No problems prior to fitting, but numerous problems since. Removed them yesterday, put the original caps back on and so far all is normal.

There are 2 types available to order, one of them states not compatible with the TPMS, the other makes no mention of this restriction, so i chose those.

Initially thought it might be the range in temps here in Dubai at the moment, which are varying from 28 to 47 degrees between morning and afternoon.

As an aside, I also wash my car using a Karcher power hose and get the rust on the discs immediately afterwards. A quick run around the block using various brake applications so far is keeping them shiny. Silly me, should have ordered the ceramics !.

Rgds.
