Drive them all and you'll find some major differences in dynamics.

SL500 or SL550 - Nice comfortable GT car. Not a sports car. A bit heavy and SL500 will feel sluggish. Girls love this car's looks. Babe magnet.

XK - Nice looking but not very practical. Another GT car. Size and weight makes it less ideal for twisty roads. Depreciate like crazy. XKR is a hoot to drive though. Lots of attention. Poor man's Aston Martin.

911 - Sportiest of the 3. Quirky drive dynamics due to rear weight bias. High on Fun factor. Weight is lighter than others but not as nimble so almost borderline as GT. At least size of the car is compact. More practical than other 2 since backseat usable for kids and is reliable.

Bottom line, if you want a sports car experience, 911. If you want a car everyone likes, SL. If you want sometime different and stylish, XK.
