If I'm not mistaken, those are stock 19" wheels commonly called "lobster claws"
can't say if they'll fit a 996

They are Lobster claws/forks. The fronts are 19x8 and the rears are 19x11. The offsets are 57mm front and 67mm rear. Yes they fit NB 996; I am currently running them with 235/35 Fronts and 295/30 Rears with no rubbing They are off of a 997 C4S. They should fit the WB 996s, but you may have to run 15mm spacers though in the rear for a C4s. They look very good on the car! GF says car looks newer. Some of the aftermarket knockoffs are made in 18" though.

Thanks! There is a standard OEM 19" set w/tires for sale on eBay for a pretty fair negotiable price: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&it em=320306076128

Take a look at them if you have an interest. There are also some chrome swaps there as well.
