is it possible to disable the TPMS sytem on a Cayman?

anyone know? I swapped back to my OEM wheels and the car is not taking a reading for some reason. I figured I might as well disable it since it isnt very accurate anyway. thanks

yeah but you have to get the dealer to do it. my tpms in the cayman always show -3 psi down. So i always just add +3 TPMS to the reading

any idea how much they charge for that? Also, was TPMS an option, or do all caymans have it? I got my stock wheels off a buddy of mine and put some aftermarket wheels (with no tire monitoring sensors) on his car. He doesnt have an issue, but I do...
