I recently drove my friend down to Gold Coast Porsche to pick up his new 997 GT2. The dealer has sold about 5 x 997 Gt2s if I recall. 'Dealer' is a good word as they are addictive. Anyway after being told originally that Viper green was not available on the 997 GT2, in an about face it did came through. The 997 Gt2 has just been lowered another 20mm, had some camber and hoosies put on it and yet to join in on a club track day. We were planning on last weekend at Morgan Park raceway but it rained. Didnt think driving a brand new GT2 in anger on Hoosires on a wet track would be wise seeing a 997 Gt2 in Australia costs around $480,000 ( cough cough!!) on the road. This could be the only RS green 997 GT2 around. Looks a real weapon since it has been lowered. Interesed in your thoughts on the colour. I have a 997 gt3 RS Mk2 on order ( hard staying focused over another 12- 18 months though) and think viper green is the colour with black wheels / spacers for the wide body. Black wheels on the 997 GT2 here are in matt black.

 

Wow the car looks spectacular in Green. Reminds me of the GT3 RS only a GT2 on steroids.
