...very nice. Much more chuckable than the 612 I've put a lot of miles on. That said, doesn't feel a world faster than the 997TT. The noise however if worth the price of admission. Clearly I need to get an exhaust.

Recently also drive a new DBS. Lovely car but materially slower feeling than TT. Good GT.

 

Well 599 is a fast car.I raced with one from 0-1000m with my LP640(sold already) last year.All stock cars,I jumped out first at the start before 60mph becuase of 4WD,but it took me 2 budies front after 130mph..I think the secure weapon for a 599 is the F1 gearbox..Much faster than the LAMBO e-gear..Also ferrari never "overclaim" their weight.When they say 599GTB=1690 kg (3722 lb) ,they really really mean it.
I took my LP640 to the test station for a weight test,with half tank fuel and nobody seat in it weighted 1790 kg/3978 lbs...Not as lambo claimed (1665 kg / 3671 lbs)....Its actually a heavier car than 599...I was bit dispointed not bought a 599....Ferrari is better!

I viewed some tests result,a stock 599 can do 0-100mph in 7.4 secs,LP640 7.8 secs,stock 997tt 8.5 secs,GT2 7.9 secs.So you see the differents from stock.A 600hp 997tt should beat them all.

 

DBS is just a gorgeous car. I'd not put that under performance category with ferrari and porsche tbh. Definitely 599>612.
