Not much is faster, stops quicker or looks better than the R, but now I need some back seats so will consider trade for right 997TT or 997GT3 that I can stick some back seats in. Might consider a 996GT2 or 6TT + cash...but prefer a 7. You've seen the R in Excellence and 911&Porsche Word and soon to come out in other mags. Light weight & seriously quick, but fully functional with heat + a/c and built to the highest degree of taste and art. 2760lbs & 500HP provides a fantastic platform...Send an email and I'll forward the build sheet and more pics. No tire kickers...might consider cash, but then my wife will want some of that....so a trade is a better option.

Seen this car in Excellence, not to be biased since I am also a 964 owner but I think this is one of the best looking Porches to this day

 

Vietspec....thanks for the kind words. The car came out better than I hoped and visually it really makes a statement. I think the rear flares and the 295's and how the car sits just looks so right. The cookie cutter straight pipes round it all out and really give a nod to the RSR. But yes it is a very pretty car. I will post more pics later this week.

Getz, it'd have to be in the same area code of a 7TT or GT3....or possibly a 6GT2 as I can stuff some rear seats in that as well.

 

If you put rear seats in a 996GT2 I will put a curse on you way worse than the one that chick got in the movie "Drag Me to Hell"

 

Dr_Jitsu...that's harsh....Seats are only until the kids get big enough to ride in the front or until I can build another car. I'd put back seats in the R but for the fact it has a full cage....which it needs for the twist from the 993TT motor....

Sell that bad boy and get yourself a 2009 Merc C63 w/ a tune. You should have enough left over to start a 529.
