I drove the 55 today to work and when I went to go home and started her up the system would not work. When I press the power button the screen lights up with MB symbol and mercedes benze writing. But then after 5 secs it goes blank like it switched off. The nav, radio, cd will not work. I cant even get the lower panel to open to access the cd changer.

Any ideas

Put a 12 gauge in its face, and pull the trigger. I hate my Comand unit (probably the same as yours). I've never had this happen though. I'd say a fault somewhere, but then it wouldn't even light up i guess...
