One of our 997TT customers just got this new toy and he decided to come in and have it massaged a little:


Plans are as follow:

ECU tune
Pulley kit
Headers
LSD upgrade
HRE wheels
Airboxes

And a few more goodies.

Not a fan of the silver, but most certainly am of increased performance...

 

What are people doing for weight reduction? Don't those weigh about 3900 lbs? Losing a few hundred lbs would be like adding 60hp and the advantages would be felt in the braking and handling too.

Sorry.
Evosport rear rotors will gain you maybe 9 lbs per side unsprung.
Dymags another 12 pounds unsprung per corner.
Replacing the seats can give you 50 to 60 each.

had an M6 for 2 years after a bunch of Porsches, mostly turbo cars. fun at first, but really got tired of the smg. impossible to drive in auto mode, which I never did, and smg still needs some work as a daily driver. fit and finish were quite good, and very comfortable.
