My New 10 Min Install Item - Car is WAY Cool
6mo old son, sick wifey, guess who did not go out friday night
So I got these NR Auto Carbon Fiber Mirror Inserts, a beer, my iPhone, and did the quickest install on my 997 TT since my clear corners way way way back when. Having the Vorsteiner bumpers with carbon fiber trim, rear wing with carbon fiber blade, and GT2 NR Auto carbon hood grill, I thought this would be a perfect add on. Pics are so so, but wait till I do the wam bam shoot
So here is how it goes...
The NR Auto quality is great. The weave and glossy finish matched the other parts and it was very basic. The pair comes wrapped up in a box with printed instructions and some clear RTV. They basically slide between the mirror claw and sit flush to the mirror housing.

The How To Instruction sheet.

Put the RTV on the inside of the carbon mirror insert nice and purty.

Now slide the carbon insert into the mirror opening and position it into place. Once you get it where you want, use some masking tape and pull it tight around the mirror to keep it drying solidly flush on there.

...Presto, cool factor in the house!
