will a z06 front bumper fit properly on a stock vette
with original front fenders? or do you have to buy the z06 front fenders as well?

I believe you will need to get the fenders as well. ZO6 is a 'widebody' whereas a standard C6 is not. (I think I saw a vendor making ZO6 style fronts for standard C6's...I'll see if I can find it for ya. It was on CF.)

1 slow 97 is infamous around these parts
a good body shop can make the OEM Z06 bumper work with factory C6 front fenders. You can also get an after market Z06 style bumper thats bolts right up with no problems. pm me if you would like details on the after market one.
