How would you compare this to the B&W LCR600?

It's almost the same but smaller.

 

My A/V "advisors" spec'd the 600, so let me do some homework...

If you have a large room then the 600 is a better choice. In a smaller room the 60 takes less power to drive and probably sounds a little tighter. Put another way, if your seating location is more than 10 feet from where the center channel will be then this is too small in my opinion.

 

Seats would be beyond 10' from the speaker (not by much, though...maybe 12-15'). So, it may not be sufficient. But, it's also a big room, and the acoustics may not be ideal for a smaller unit. I'll be back to you.
