GT3 purchase dilemna
I am close to pulling the trigger on an 07 997.1 RS with 5K miles, exhaust and ECU tune, no track time or a new 997.2 3. RS has PCCB and a bunch of painted bits inside, the .2 is fairly stripped with engine mounts and a few interior things.
Car will be 95% street driven, 5% lapping. Love the look of the RS, and performance is awesome but I can't stop thinking that I'm shorting myself by not getting the 3.8 motor etc. If anyone has driven both, will I notice a big difference between the .1 and .2 for spirited street driving? The RS is also appealing because they have depreciated so it will leave about $10K in my pocket.

Owned both and honestly there's very little difference performance-wise. The 3.8 has a lil' more torque but then again the RS has better acceleration and response with the LWF. I don't know if you can but the best way is to drive both. You'll know then
