Convenience feature on memory seats
Convenience feature on memory seats
My Benz moves the seat back when I turn off the ignition and moves it back forward when I start the car. Does the Turbo S driver's seat have this feature?
Not that I know of...My M5 had that feature and even the steering wheel moves up in out so it's easier to get in and out of the car, loved it!

I picked the car up on Thursday and have covered about 300 km. I'm very happy. It feels heavier and more planted than the Carrera and quicker than my old LP640 away from the lights. I'm keeping the revs down to 5,000 but it gets there so quickly it requires discipline.
It is acceptable as a daily driver but the PDK isn't as smooth as a proper automatic. I don't mean this as a negative - it's just that you are always aware that you are driving a performance car. It is happiest in Sport as the standard trans setting sees the car in sixth at 60km/h and it feels like it is lugging at that speed.
The PTV is quite noticeable in tight corners. The 977.2 press car I drove didn't have PTV it it understeered more. The S really turns in, even under power.
I'm loving the brakes which feel much more powerful than my Carrera had.
I wasn't sure about the RS Spyder wheels but now I'm digging them because they look so different.
The exhaust is very quiet on start up but deepens its voice in Sport mode.
iPod and bluetooth set up was a cinch. I ordered voice control, garage door opener, heated seats, leather rear console and carbon door sills and everything was there at delivery.
I'm getting a clear bra next week, then off to drive the Great Ocean Road with a couple of mates next weekend.
