Thinking about Jumping back into a Porsche

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum but have been looking around here for a while. I'm considering getting back into a Porsche in the next few months. I've previously owned a 997.1 GT3 and it was a great car. So, I do have a little knowledge about Porsche's. I'm looking into a used 08-10 Turbo or possibly ordering a new one to my specs depending on how well the dealers discount a new one. I know in 2010 they went from the beloved 3.6 to the 3.8 engine, added the engine mounts as an option and a few other changes. I do not plan on tracking the car (at least not that often) and it will be a weekend toy. I also do not tend to mod my cars and prefer to leave them stock. I'm definitely going with a 6spd manual as well. With this in mind what are your opinions/advice on which car to get. If you've owned a GT3 and a Turbo, your input would also be appreciated as to how you view the differences in the two cars. Thanks for your input!
