worth fixing?

Since I put on my AWE Gen 2 exhaust I could hear some buzzing/vibrating from the rear of the car at certain rpms. Turns out it is the rear quarter window on the driver's side. I was driving and when I heard it I could gently push on the window and it would stop.

Has anyone else experienced this? Would it be a big deal to get fixed? Not sure if they'll do it under warranty b/c of the exhaust mod but my bigger concern is if it causes more problems than it solves by messing with it. I don't know if the other side also vibrates but the other side does let a little water in when I go through a touchless car wash (out of necessity only).

its under warranty but you'll need a good dealer tech thats patient to fix it. the inside panel needs to be removed. the window regulator is loose. if you leave it, it won't cause leakage. it's just a buzz.

been there, done that. Get it fixed, it will get worse. My car had the same issue, the bolts are built into the glass and they come lose on occasion. It would buzz and bang over bumps, tap on it and it rattled a bit.

The glass is replaced in full, as the bolts cant be tightened, takes a good 2-3 days to get parts and install.

The dealer should warranty it without issue.

Just a follow-up on this: I took it into the shop and they fiddled with the rubber seal and applied some silicone. The tech indicated that it may be due to slight misalignment after the window tint guys fiddled with it (during install of the tint). In any case, it seems to have solved the problem!!! I didn't realize how much of an irritant it was until after it was fixed. It's so much more enjoyable to be in the car and hear just the engine/exhaust. I had just assumed it was a consequence of putting on an aftermarket (AWE Gen2) exhaust with more bass, but that wasn't the case. BTW, the exhaust sounds very nice. I hope this fix lasts!

There was no issue with my having an aftermarket exhaust, they fixed it under warranty no questions asked. Thank you CPO!
