Carbon Fiber Hood???
Carbon Fiber Hood???
So I'm thinking about wrapping my hood with a carbon fiber print. My turbo has black wheels and I think it looks awesome on the RS model. I know I should do it if I wanted to but just looking for feedback. I have an album with more pictures of my ride.
To each his own but I think you car looks great as it is. That being said, the hood might be what you need to change it up for yourself and thats what matters most. I have a white cabrio and I clear filmed it for protection and I am leaving it as is.
Personally I'd suggest that you get an actual CF hood as opposed to a sticker - you may be subjected to a few head shakes from the local die hard fanatics if you chose to use a sticker :P
With regards to the idea - I love the 997 GT2 color look (so thumbs up
), think a white 997tt would look great with the CF hood, as long as the color scheme is complete over the entire vehicle - would be advisable to tie it in to CF mirrors, rear wing spoiler, etc.
Just doing the hood - may look odd.

This was on my car for only a few wks and I thought that it was to racy for me so I went back to the original. It is matte with no gloss in excellent condition with all mount holes done. I saw an RS in the showroom and the hood is matte and the wing is gloss, so it is exact same.
I can sell it to you at a very reasonable price. PM me if you would like details.
