i was looking at a GTS cab at my dealor and realized the GTS wheels would fit on the turbo given the fat back end of the GTS.

anyway, they had a GTS with the sport wheel painted Basalt black - the colour of the turbo i am still waffling about. they agreed to swap them out for me. i like the turbo II wheel but i have to say getting a bit popular. as well, the Sport wheel is my favourite. here is a pic of the wheels on another model - same paint job though.

 

Of course the GTS Spyder wheel will fit on a TT. This is the standard wheel on a TT-S and is an avaliable option for $3800 on a TT. If you like this set of wheels and is paying extra for it, you may as well look into a TT-S unless you definitely want a TT for the 6 spd. I know this well because I went through the same "exercise" 7 months ago.

The GTS wheels you're talking about llngoc are not the wheels displayed on that GTS. The GTS wheels that are optional on the TT/standard on the TTS are the centerlock wheels standard on the GTS.

The black Carrera Sport wheel is a no-cost factory option on the GTS.

they would be pretty unusual on the turbo - never seen a pic of a set on a 997.2TT
