plzzz members help oil tempreture

my car has been driven for 1500 km and last week the tempreture of the oil reached 120 c and then the engine turned to safety mode is it normal ?? that the car milege was 900 kms only please help

not normal, may need oil temp sensor.

Spent 3 hours at highway speeds last week in 105 F temps - oil temp never got above 200 F (93 C) - sounds like something is wrong with yours.

I ve never seen any 997TT running over 100-105c at hot climate...Here with 40c ambient and aircondition oil temps runs between 90-95c...It might be afaulty sensor...996 cars had a weak point of oil pressure sensor...suddenly you lost pressure and every warning lamp was on...But the problem was the VDO sender unit...

the guys over here at porsche centre told me that there's nothing wrong but what i think is that they don't know how to fix the problem ..... can i send a report to germany or smthng like that ??
