Help picking a classic Corvette

Hi everyone, I've noticed that prices on 1958-1962 Corvettes are lower than what they were when I previously looked a few years back (not sure if it just happens to be the selection). I love my cars but have never purchased a classic and am not as knowledgeable about the market. I'm definitely leaning towards the powerglide auto tranny (which i believe was not available until 1960). Any thoughts on what year and specs/color I should look for to get me the best rental response and also to have the best potential return as an investment? What would be a good price for such a car in clean but not show quality condition?

Thanks and wish me luck,
Payman

I think you'd be best suited by a '63-'67 convertible.
