I guess I was a bit too naughty this year as Santa did not come through with my 997 TT so I am in shopping/research mode.

I recently saw this 2008 TT on eBay but it has already sold. I really like the front end and I have seen it on a few 997s but I am not sure where it comes from. The eBay ad said it was a GT2 front bumper but that doesn't appear to be the case. Maybe they are talking about the carbon fiber trim in front of the hood but I am talking about the painted grill. Can someone tell me what it is and where you can find one?

It's a standard turbo front bumper with a GT3 front air vent.

 

Stock bumper/gt3 vent/techart lip...

 

Maybe I am doing a poor job of describing it.

Below is what most 2008 TT front ends look like that I have seen. Is the grill on the first one simply painted to match the car versus black?
