How do you guys protect the Matte paint from chipping? friend of mine had an E60 M5 painted flat white and the paint began chipping due to lack of clearcoat. Is there a new Matte style clear coat that protects the paint while keeping that satin finish?

All of our matte paint jobs have always been clearcoated; it's those "single stage" paints/ paint jobs that are guaranteed problems, as your friend unfortunately experienced.
