Did mine matte black over 2 years ago. Looks pretty subtle on a dark car like mine. No regrets. Getting my exhaust tips ceramic coated next week to finish off the anti-chrome treatment.

Hunter! We are siblings! Anti Chrome... I call it black out.
Dont have the black roof, but I have a couple of ideas for you...

I do prefer the black roof as a continuation of the black hood... I think the roof standalone seems lacking. Top of rear spoiler perhaps?
