335-30-20 Super Sport vs 345-25-20 Invo HELP
335-30-20 Super Sport vs 345-25-20 Invo HELP
I'm posting this here because I'm trying to chart new territory for the CTS-V Coupe and I know you guys have had experience with these tires. I'm attempting to fit a 20x12 rear wheel with one of the aforementioned tires. If I go the 335-30-20 route I will be staying at stock height. If I go the 345-25-20 route I'll be lowering 1". My 20x12 offset is going to put the outer edge of the wheel face flush with the fender. That's where I see a problem occurring with the 335 Super Sport because of the ridiculously large rim protector. From pictures I've found it appears that the Invo 345 is significantly thinner than the 335 Super Sport on the same rim (12")... I also read that the T1R in the 345-25-20 is ~.6" wider than the Invo (13.6" vs 13").
Anyone have real world measurements on the Super Sport/PS2 and/or Invo on 12" rims?
I'm trying to avoid all rubbing with the outer fender and I'll deal with any fender liner/inner wheel well rubbing after the fact.
Stock CTS-V stance with 285-35-19 on 10" rim (my offset pushes the wheel face out 20mm further than this):

Lowered CTS-V with 295-30-20 Proxes 4 on 10.5" rim (my offset pushes the wheel face out 1mm further than this):

GTR with 335-30-20 Super Sport on 12" rim (same rim and tire combo I am planning on):

Vette with 345-25-20 Invo on 12" rim (same manufacturer of rim and my back up plan for tire):

Thanks for any help or advice! I'm currently leaning towards trying the Super Sports and if they are too big selling them for the Invo.
