Quick Q because I kno you guys also have SUV's
Looking into buying a range Sport Autobio 2010 . Me and the seller had agreed to sell/trade in september which is right around the corner. He just got smashed into last week, I went to the dealer to see the damages and he got smashed in both doors. As far as I can see nothing mechanical aside from the door mechanism etc... What do you guys think? should I still get it... thanx
I had a bmw getting smashed front passenger door, it was repaired but 1,5y later started rusting (inside and bottom edges). BMW replaced the door under warranty since they did the repair.
I would require new doors and any other affected panels to be replaced.

i would pass on this one, and search for a different car. the deal you guys originally worked out (i'm assuming) was for two cars that had not been in wrecks, which is no longer what's on the table.
Definitely pass. For one that metal will never be as strong again and if a similar type of accident happened it would be much worse. I had a similar type of accident on my SUV and 4 years later I am having issues with the skim coat of filler they had to use to make it look perfect again.
