All-wheel drive made the cut and adds close to 200 pounds but earns its keep by getting the power to the ground — 0 to 60 mph allegedly takes only 2.5 seconds.

I read about this just now. The specs seem a little nuts. Why would you want a 918 instead of this car with those specs? Just because it's rarer and a hybrid?

 

I agree on the specs. It sounds crazy!

They just need a nice compact v8 with two turbos to destroy the competition! I like the looks!

 

I just don't know that they'll bother with a quad turbo when they've already made turbos with variable turbine geometry in the 911 to reduce lag. Even BMW switched to a single turbo in their inline 6 from a twin turbo setup. In any case this car has got to be years off if it's even actually being developed.
