Good Car Audio Shop in Socal?

Hello guys -

Just got my first Porshce and it feels more awesome that I thought it would. 2008 997 Turbo, cab, black with black wheels and red leather interior.

Can anyone please suggest a good car audio shop that will take good care of my baby? In other cars I've owned I've run the gamut of car audio experiences from terrible to competition quality.

So I know what a BAD shop will do to your car, your time, your wallet and your expectations.

Interestingly, in the front luggage compartment the car came with a McIntosh MCC302 amplifier installed. But for some reason the door speakers sound like crap. I would find it hard to believe that someone would install a ~$700 amp only to hook up the crappy bose speakers.

Thanks for any advice... BTW I'm in Carlsbad, CA.

http://www.lajollaaudio.com/

Seems to be the best option I can find. The Porsche and BMW shops all refer this place.

Hey what's up I'm in San Marcos. Pm me your info. 4 turbo guys are meeting up on Monday and then drive to a small car meet if you wanna join.

I'll research a audio place for you when I get back. I'm in Chicago till Sunday.

My post count isn't up enough yet - no PM's.

Jeremy here, I live in South Carlsbad. Thanks for the invite!

Unfortunately my car will be at Hoen Porsche's service department on Monday. I've got a Converter Efficiency code in bank 2. My mechanic has told me that this is covered under the California Emissions Warranty (it's listed in the manual - fully covered up to 70K/7year) and that Porsche will cover it. We'll see what Hoen says.

Definitely would love to meet up next time. Here's my info:
