Has anyone installed this aux wire???

Hey guys. I was wanting to get an aux wire cable in my 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo. Does anyone have any experience with this wire? Does it work? It says that is just connects to the back of the head unit and take place of the cd changer wire.

Thanks.

I think these will work on some of the older CDR model stereos....but not the newer PCM models or even CDR with the MOST fiber optics.

Hey on this site is says it would work with CR-22, CDR-22, CR-220 and CDR-220 models ONLY. What model are the newer PCM units? Thanks.

Hey thanks. I just figured it out and that wire is only for the older model decks. Thanks again.

Yes...You got it. You are welcome. The ones you listed are in older Porsches.

Looks like you need some of the relatively expensive converters with Fiber Optics to have that functionality with newer MOST systems. Such as Dension etc..
