Opinions on fixing this Volk wheel (light scuffs)
Opinions on fixing this Volk wheel (light scuffs)
I know this isn't the wheel section, but nobody goes in there so I'm posting this here. I figured maybe some of you will have experience getting rims fixed and could offer some opinions/advice. I'm looking at purchasing these wheels and they are discontinued in this style, besides being rare in the size and offset I'm looking for.
Wheel in question:

Can this be made to look like new? Do they weld material onto the wheel to fix it? Since this is a forged wheel, will I run into problems with a repair? Are vibrations a possibile problem? Would the whole wheel have to be repainted? Also I'm not a fan of powder coating wheels, if that matters. How much dinero for a repair of this caliber? Anyone have a good contact who fixes wheels in AZ? Anything else I should be aware of?
I think that is all... Thanks!

You might want to call here and discuss, then see if you can ship your wheel to him.
