Tire Fitment Question
Tire Fitment Question
Hey guys,
First I apologize if this has been covered or if there a thread dedicated to this, I couldnt find one.
I have new tires on my new car and have ordered a set of Forgestar F14 wheels. Just want to make sure that the tires I have will work with the offset.
Car: 996 Turbo
Offset : Front -ET43
Tires: 245/40/18
Suspension: stock (for the moment)
Will this setup work?
Will it still work if I lower the vehicle?
Thanks!

it'll work fine (look goofy) on stock suspension.
once you lower it, (depending on alignment settings), you may rub or you may not.
the smarter option is 235 40 18 and 315 30 18 OEM gt2 sizes.
thats the thing about porsche's.. theyre unlike any other car (audi, bmw , bla bla bla ). they are tuned best from the factory, not aftermarket.
so in other words, stick with OEM sizes and you'll get the very best performance.
