'07 997 Twin Turbo - 54k miles, getting inspected. What to look for?

I am having an inspection done on a 2007 997 Twin Turbo tomorrow, and am trying to see if there is anything that I am missing besides having them scan for over revs and any other glaring mechanical issues. Are there any major flaws or recurring problems that I should have them look for? Normally I would be looking for a lower mileage car, but this deal came along last week and I figured I would give it a shot. This way I won't feel as bad when I pile on the miles and drive it in snow and rain.

Any thoughts or tips? Thank you!

Have you been in the market for CLK black? I was in the market for both black and TT and ended up getting 07TT and never looked back. The CLK black looks great and sounds phenomenal but everything else the TT is far better car IMO.

As you may already know and with that mileage, look closely for coolant system especially pipes and fittings. These are the weakest link on the 997TTs. Also check when was the last time spark plugs were changed. If they are still original, you may need to change them and they are expensive(labor).

How exactly would one check for cooling system pipes and fittings without taking out the engine, which is not an option when one buys a car?

I would say, if the car is manual, check if/when clutch was replaced. Especially if it was/is a tuned car. Also the clutch pressure accumulator and slave cylinder problems - check in the front under plastic cover on the right if the little Pentosin container is leaking - a sign of faulty accumulator.
Check if the belts were replaced, they are due about this time.
Do wheel alignment for good measure.

Yes. I was looking primarily at the CLK63 Black Series, and almost picked one up a few months ago, but could not resign myself to the slow shifting paddle shifts of the transmission and found myself back in the Porsche pond. I love the sound and unique looks of the CLK63 Black Series, but after a buddy bought an '07 997 Twin Turbo and I went for a drive in it, I figured that may be a more satisfying daily driver, espically in the winter.
