Hello, I'm currently in the process of replacing my defective door latch system and I am not able to remove the part shown in the picture (control shaft + connecting piece).

How do you remove that thing?

I am not either but if you already have the replacement piece, you can look at that to understand how to put it together. If there is no screws or pinch clips, it is usually some type of fiction connection. Just pull.
