Aug 3 Autocross at Zmax (NC)
Join us for a HUGE Autocross event at Z-Max Race way (across the street from Charlotte Motorspeedway) on Sat, Aug 3. PCA is sponsoring the event but it's open to all makes and BMW's are some of the most popular cars at these autocross events. They welcome all makes and models with open arms.
The course is usually over 1.5 miles long and very fast. Normally you get 6-8 runs so it's a lot better then the usual.
This is a great way to test the limits of your car, as well as become a better driver.... with NO RISK of damage. Nothing to hit but orange cones.
Autocrossing can be a lot of fun without special mods or parts. Over 70% of the cars out there will be BONE STOCK.
They have a huge range of drivers, from slow to fast, and instructors to help (If you want it) so you can build up speed at your own pace in a safe, controlled environment. It's a very laid back event and super friendly bunch of people.
If you've ever wanted to push yourself as a driver, this is a great opportunity. Give it a try and you will walk away with a huge smile on your face. Everyone does.
