I know there are a few lancia delta integrale roaming around int the u.s. anyone know of any for sale?

also, has anyone ever imported a car that is 25 years old where it can technicaly be imported into the us with no issue ?

 

Also very interested in experiences others have had. Looking to bring in an Escort Cosworth the day they're allowed !

 

The Delta Integrale is one of my all time favorite cars. I spent a lot of my high school years in Europe and all I ever wanted was to bring one back to the US as my first car! To this day, I absolutely LOVE it!

You can bring one in no problem as long as its 25 years or older .

I found a few 89 integrales that can be imported over from Italy

 

When bring in a car, what smog standards are used when the time comes to do so ?
For example, an early 80s Euro spec that didn't come with a catalyst. Do you have to install all emissions equipment used on CA legal vehicles of the same era ?

 

unfortunately for you since you live in cali, its very very hard to bring one in even after the 25 year rule.. cuase you are still required to getthe car to pass emissions and such, and its very very expensive to do so on the this car due to something with the motor..

you can only bring it in as a rally off road vehicle... ORRRR you can have it registered in canada ..and drive it down there .then they can kiss your a$$.

now for the rest of us, like me in PA , when it comes in with the 25 year rule.. we dont have to do anything for emissions, the whole car is exempt from everything.
