Have you considered a Creative Zen? Smaller than iPod in size plus iPod is 6 GB ($239) for 1,500 songs, Zen is 5 GB ($199) for 2,500 songs due to the smaller size of the .wma file structure windows uses over .ogg on iPod. Also, Zen's come with power charger which will run you $40 at Apple, plus a built in FM radio which you can record onto your Zen and playback as music file, plus it includes a voice recorder that saves as a .wma versus apple's iTalk ($40). My university sells them for an educator's discount, I could ship you one if you were interested. Lastly, iPod batteries are $50 plus u gotta wait for shipping whereas Zen's are $35 and can be replaced at any major retailer. Not a salesperson just have a positive experience.
