TPMS compatibility for “odd ball” year 2009 Turbo

Hey Guys! Trying to figure out if the '09 Turbo which is considered a 997.1 is using the 997.2 TPMS system or if they stuck with the 997.1 system and components specifically for the '09 Turbo model??? I know they both use 433MHz but not sure if they both have the same trigger pulse.

According to the parts guy who ran my VIN, the part number for my TPMS is: 997.606.022.00
I’m trying to figure out if TPMS sensors from a 997.2 will work, part number: 997.606.021.20

<OThe link below does not mention the part number from the 09 Turbo…

Damon at Tirerack or the guys at Suncoast can answer with confidence - try them.

To my knowledge, 07-08 use a different sensor than 09-10 cars.

Was looking at an 09 and wanted to exchange the OEMs for my 08 GT3 RS wheels. According to the dealer I would have to swap my TPMS sensors for the 09 sensors on the OEM wheels.

Because of the change in parts dealers will ask for the VIN to make sure you get the correct version.
