Front lip aero-kit spoiler

The time has come for me to replace my front lip splitter/spoiler and I was wondering if there was a difference between a regular Turbo front lip spoiler and the aero-kit one.

Found this on Ebay and it looked like a good price so I bought it. Says it is a aero-kit but to my eye it looks the same as the OEM one on my 2010 TT.

Many of us have been buying a similar, or same, product from a different ebay source. check out the tread on this forum that discusses "GT2 style plastic front lip-----" or words to that effect. Most have been happy with the price and quality. Although ours is for the 997.1tt rather than the .2

the aero kit front lip curves out about an inch where as the stock lip is flush against the bumper. They both sit the same height above the ground, but the aero lip looks more aggressive, especially if painted to match the body color.

As posted by others, the OE aero front lip is definitely different and looks more aggressive. The one you purchased is very similar to the OE aero, more so than the stock unit. You can tell by looking at the lip, which flares out more on the aero version. Let the forum know what you think.

Got the spoiler today and it looks great. Having surgery and will be out of it for a couple of months so will tell you later how it fits.
