Anyone DIY a coolant flush on the 997tt? Please Advise

Hi guys...

My cars radiator sprung a leak so I replaced it. I need to know the correct method to flush and refill the cooling system.

Any advice? Or should I send it to the dealers??

you can buy a bleeder. or just let the car idle on an incline with the rear of the car up in the air and no cap on the tank. once fans kick on and thermostat opens up it will circluate the coolant and you will see air coming from the tank. top off the coolant as you ae doing it.

Thanks for the help... So in other words, I could put the rear of the car up on stands for the same effect? Or am I missing the idea...?

Any bleeders recommended? Also, should I get anti freeze from the agents or will any stuff from the local spares shop do?

Thx again!

rear on jack stands is fine. you can use porsche coolant or the dex-cool 50/50 pink coolant available from parts stores.
