Center lock locking mechanism proper locked position video
Center lock locking mechanism proper locked position video
For those of you with center locks I made a simple video to help explain where the proper center lock mechanism position should be after you have torqued your wheels.
Seems there is a lot of confusion and not having them locked properly can lead to a potential wheel loss from the hub.
I use a Craftsman 1/2" universal joint, part number 4425, but any 1/2" tool that will fit with in the locking mechanism and allow you to jiggle it while it is extending works also. Some can just use their finger but I never mastered that.

Alright, it seems mine were not properly locked in the rear.
I just went out and jiggled them around and they popped out. They all sitting close to the edge, this is good to know! I always figured they would lock normal without any issues, but it seems it's better to check.
