997.2 Turbo exhaust.... x-pipe or not?

I’m on the fence as to which muffler delete to buy…. I had the Sharkwerks center muffler delete on my GT3 and looooooooooved it! But I have read in a few places that turbos perform better with the X-pipe versus a non x-pipe system. Is this really true?

Well...... Both.

I don't want to waster my money on a "mod" that doesn't perform well.

The X-Pipe will definitely give you a small bump in sound, but not so much in performance. For that you'll need a system with higher-flowing cats, or no cats at all.

I'm mostly talking about the muffler delete pipes using the OE cats vs a full on exhaust that replaces the cats.

So are you saying that either muffler delete system is about the same when using the stock cats?

You won't notice a difference in power between the two, I would definitely go x-pipe as it completely changes the way the car sounds. It'll never quite sound like a GT3 but its a step in the right direction.

Go with Sharkwerks again, I love mine and it is a great deal.
