PASM Suspension Polarity?

Does anyone here know if the PASM cable has polarity? It can be plugged in either way, and I would think that if it mattered it would have dummy proof connectors. (Although I have seen stranger things from Porsche engineers).

I am talking about the cable that comes right off the top of each strut. I have spoke with a few people that say that it shouldn't matter, but I am wondering if the dynamic with the shock would change if the polarity was swapped by accident.

AndyF987 is infamous around these parts
I was just wondering that myself. There is a small "1" and "2" both on the yellow connector from the piston rod and the same numbers inside the connector on the car where the pins are housed. The porsche workshop manual doesn't mention which direction they go so I guess maybe it doesnt matter.
