Hello All,

I recently acquired a 997.1 and it came with a Milltek exhaust. While it sounds nice, it's a little too quiet for my taste. I ran into a local purist with the same car, and his has the M & M exhaust. You can hear the turbos clearly, you can hear that his car has more grunt, etc. Mine you can't really hear the turbos.

We discussed a trade, but didn't know if this makes and sense due to the price difference and maybe quality of the exhaust systems. Is anyone familiar with M & M versus Milltek? Are there any other brands to look for that I may be interested in? I can sell mine and purchase a used one online, just don't see that many.

I guess my question is, where can I pick up a good used one?
And, which manufacture is going to sound grunty and louder?

Is the M & M a good quality exhaust?

I think that you would be crazy to NOT trade for M&M exhaust.
They must know what they are doing. They make all the cup car exhaust systems.

Can't speak of M&M however I love my BBI - i can clearly hear the turbos spool and the noises it makes are majestic!

I believe the GT3 sounds the best, however the BBI exhaust is the closest to a GT3 i have ever heard from a turbo car and i love it. Highly recommend giving that a listen if you decide to buy a new exhaust.
