I've been making some incremental aesthetic mods to my 997.1TT since acquiring it in mid August. Although I love the Kline exhaust the PO had installed (via Sam!), I was okay with but not crazy about the tips. My 10 year old son on the other hand disliked what he felt were "AMG-esque" exhaust tips.

So, I started looking for replacement tips and was shocked to see pricing but thought the Fabspeed and Maxspeed options looked best. I also considered Schnell but was leery due to reports of poor fitment/clamps. In any case, Fabspeed had their tips at 50% off during X-mas, so I bit. While I think I need to adjust the driver's side exhaust a little, what do you all think?

 

Personally i like the round better so i think you made a good choice.

 

Both are a nice look. Just different. The round do show more metal and that's nice! I like it and what a deal! Just make sure the system sound does not change much. There is a U splitter on most dual tips and some say you can hear the air hitting it.

This will help lots of people wondering on tips!

 

Agree - preference on this kind of stuff is all just a matter of opinion. The sound did have a minor change with the Fabspeed tips but still sounds good (Kline rocks).
