Yes, I realize that the replacement of the stock cats are the primary power gainers in aftermarket exhaust systems, but I'm curious as to whether or not there are any systems out there that are basically cat-back systems that retain the use of the stock cats. I guess that'd consist of primarily new mufflers and the piping that goes back to the cats themselves. Theoretically this would deepen the extra-quiet exhaust note of the stock car without changing any emissions characteristics, which is something I'm interested in.

There are no options as the cats are an integral part of the muffler, so when you remove the OEM exhaust, you are removing the cats, as well.
