Original Warranty/CPO & Parts Question

I have my 4 year maintenance coming up (only 14,200 miles though) on my car and the dealer wants $2,600 due mostly (I think) to changing the plugs. I found a local shop with a good rep who quoted me about half the price. I asked my service adviser and she said it's fine as long as they use Porsche parts. The local shop said it does not have to be Porsche boxed parts (e.g., Bosch plugs) and that using non-Porsche boxed won't ruin warranty. Does anyone know if this is true?

You don't have to use a porsche branded plug - just use the OEM bosch replacement part.

I thought that was probably the case since it's a Bosch plug and not a Porsche plug, but thought maybe somehow the warranty stated it had to be Porsche parts (meaning boxed) on the receipt. Thank you.
