Boost off the line video

We have been running Cobb boost off the line for launches at Pro Solo events all season. Finally got some slow motion video of the launch at a test and tune event last month. This was set to 4300rpm stationary rev limit, and about 4psi boost, there is still wheel spin and you can hear the rev limiter lick in 1st gear about 1-2 car lengths out. We tested up to 7-8 psi, but the tires just lit up instantly. Mostly tune with launch rpm, 4100-4800 depending on the track surface.

Slow motion

Real time

Are you dumping the clutch or some slip? Sounds like some slip but not sure

The different rev limits are different calibration flashes correct?

Thanks for the info. I may need to do this looks like fun lol.

Some clutch slip, my wife is smoother with it (she is driving in the video) than I am. I tend to dump it

Yes, the rev limit changes requires a different map and reflash, not as flexible as other OEM ECUs.
