I decided to paint my center stack cobalt blue to match my exterior.

Between brittle 10 year old plastic clips, dried out electrical resistors, and tight german engineering.. its been kicking my ***. I've turned many wrenches and done plenty of wiring projects over the years and this well... isn't fun.

The good news is the parts are painted and re-assembly is well underway.

Somehow when disassembling the climate control unit I missed the fact that there is a white plastic diffuser that goes behind the LCD glass itself. It must have fallen out somewhere and I have searched high and low and cannot find it.

Does anyone have one they want to sell from a donor unit or know where I can buy just that part? I hate to drop $300+ clams on an entire unit just for this tiny plastic piece.

They were only selling entire units.

I ended up pulling the climate control unit from my wifes Boxster as I needed to send her climate control buttons to sticky no more. I stole the diffuser from unit and sent it to a buddy of mine who deals with plastics. He is going to die cut me an exact copy..
